17 October, 2025

Get an insight into our work at Anchor Management Consulting. Today we meet Jonas Norström, an experienced change leader who is passionate about creating security, clarity and results. Here he shares his thoughts on leadership, challenges and what makes a real difference for customers.

1. What do you take with you from your latest assignment at Biometria on behalf of Stora Sandön - both as a consultant and person?

I have seen how far you can go by creating safety and clarity. When we clarify expectations and priorities and build trust in teams, we unleash energy and commitment that makes a real difference for both individuals and teams.

Exceeding the expectations of an entire industry inspires me and gives me the energy to continue developing.

2. What type of mission or challenge are you curious about next?

I want to lead a challenging journey of change, preferably a journey of growth, with high expectations where business, people and technology meet.

Assignments that require tough delivery but at the same time provide the opportunity to lift an organization in both culture and capacity attract me. Contributing with my experience and at the same time developing people and businesses is something I am really passionate about.

There is something special about seeing people and organizations grow with the challenges. I also have to admit that I enjoy stepping into something that feels impossible and getting it done. That kind of challenge triggers me.

3. What do you usually contribute to a team beyond what is on your CV?

I bring confidence and courage to both the team and the mission. I create clarity around what is important, dare to challenge when needed and stand firm even when the wind blows.

My leadership is based on perseverance, delivery focus and personality. I believe in being coaching and supportive but also clear when needed. It's about bringing out the best in people and building something that lasts over time. Then "nothing is impossible" becomes a mindset, not just a cliché.

4. When do you feel you are making a real difference to customers?

I make the biggest difference when I manage to build people's confidence so that they dare to innovate, take responsibility and grow. When the team exceeds expectations and what we build not only delivers results but also leaves a lasting impression, I feel I have succeeded.

As people develop, organizations mature and change lives on, I know I have made a real contribution.

5. Anything you would like to share from your experience of leading change journeys?

Dare to have fun!

It is incredibly important to be able to laugh together, especially when things are tough. Finding the joy in the challenges makes you cope and often the biggest difference happens right there.
